Wongawallen
Wongawallen is located within the Gold Coast hinterland, in the Tamborine Mountain region.
The ‘Wongawallen name is derived from the Aboriginal word , 'wonga' pigeon and 'wallan' water which was first recorded in 1868.
Wongawallan was the name of a Yugambeh Aborigine living in the Coomera area in the 1870s.
