Currumbin RSL ANZAC Day Dawn Service is now classed as an iconic Queensland Event.

The march includes the presence of the Mudgeeraba Light Horsemen and Albert Battery and concludes at Elephant Rock at 5am where a lone piper plays signifying the commencement of the official service.

The service takes place with the vast open ocean as backdrop, symbolic of the Gallipoli foreshore. With Ron Workman OAM (Currumbin RSL President) at the helm, the service includes a multitude of layers all poignant and significant.

Currumbin RSL supplies large screens and professional outdoor sound equipment to provide excellent viewing and sound for the thousands of attendees that line the beach and also provides park and ride facilities.

Attendees are invited back to the Club following the service for breakfast and to join their current and ex service men and women in a day that is set to revere them.
